Arrowhead Rattle
Arrowhead Rattle This pendant is made from colored porcelains and is a rattle.  It contains several small porcelain beads that rattle around inside.  The background is a marbled porcelain and the design is made from a murrini slice.  You can see a line around the design this is where the colors of the background and the murrini slice differ.  The murrini slice is layered in on top of the background and attached with colored slip.  The piece has been glazed on the front.  Although the murrini slices are from the same murrini log each of the pendants will differ a bit with the marbled background and the exact shape of the design varying slightly.  The pendant is strung on a natural leather cord with adjustable knots it is adjustable from about 28" to as small as 14".  It comes with a little certificate certifying it is made by a registered Oklahoma Choctaw and telling you a bit about the murrini process.
