Serpent Pendant This pendant is hand carved from pipestone or (catlinite) a soft stone that Native Americans use to make ceremonial pipes.  It is inlaid with PMC (precious metal clay .999 fine silver) 

The design is a serpent design that is found on gorgets, sun circles and various other artwork of the ancient mound builders.  The serpent design is overlaid on one side with a carving of a ceremonial or peace pipe. 

It is strung on a leather cord with adjustable knots allowing the adjustment of the necklace lenght.  It is suitable for either a male or female wearer.. 

The pendant is approximately 2.5 inches in diameter.
