Art Nouveau Violet Slide This porcelain pendant features an Art Nouveau design taken from antique china.  The design was transferred onto the slide and then hand painted with china paints.  It was then highlighted with Luster. To achieve the depth and beauty of this design it has been painted and fired 4 times in addition to the bisque and glaze firings for a total of 5 firings.   The underlying pendant is made of porcelain and glazed with a clear glaze on the top.
