Swift Creek Stamp Bracelet Cab This cab was hand formed from Native Clay, stamped with a swift creek pottery design and hand burnished with a polished rock to achieve the shiny finish. It was then fired in a wood fire which was smothered to achieve the black color. This cab is slightly curved so it rests nicely on the wrist. This cab has four small holes diagonally in the edges of the corners that 20 gauge wire will fit through for use in attaching the cab in a wire wrap project or a bead embroidery project.

The ancient swift creek potters used wooden paddles with these designs to paddle clay into bowl shapes over gourds or rocks. Paddling the clay compresses it which makes it stronger and results in an exterior with these designs overlapping all over the surface. I particularly like the designs and thought they would make nice cabs.

Size: 48.2mm long by 36.2mm wide by 6.6mm thick and curves up in the center by 13.8mm.
