Swift Creek Rattle Bead  This bead/pendant is hand formed from Porcelain and stamped with a design from the Ancient Swift Creek potters.  The Swift Creek Potters were from the late Woodland Period in the greater Mississippi Valley area.  Click for more information on the Swift Creek Potters in a new window.  Small balls of clay inside the bead make it rattle when shaken.  This bead features 3 extra holes across the bottom of the bead for attaching fringe or dangles.  They can best be seen in the view of the back of the bead.

Size: 52mm diameter 17mm thick.
