HOHO-1
Hohokam design, it comes with a little certificate about the Indians. The Hohokam were a group of ancient Indians that lived in the Gila River basin near and in what is now Phoenix. This bead is made to look like a little seed pot. It has a hole in the center of the side and one in the top. The idea is to put a headpin through from the front and then make a loop at the top. The back is painted with underglaze to resemble the color of the ancient pottery. It is decorated with a hand made design transferred to the pieces and then fired on.
