These lentil eye beads light up you can see the one on the left is lit the one on the right is not.  It has a battery operated light that cycles through all the colors.  The batterys are replaceable.

The currently available eyes are shown in pairs  One is lit up the other unlit.  Choose from the drop down which eye you want.   The blue eyes are very opaque and do not glow as much as the others, although you do see the glow around the whites of the eye and around the pupil or if it is pretty dark in the area, ie: night time. 
View the video to see a set of the small eyes cycle through the colors.  These do the same thing but are bigger.

Size: round blue eye 1.25 inch diameter.  Cat/dragon eyes 1 3/8 inch diameter
