Steampunk Skull
This small focal bead is as sort of Darth Vader meets Jules Vern creation. On one side of the head you can see the bare bone of the poor fellow's skull, his teeth etc. On the other side he is fully fleshed out with lips, ear, cheeks eye etc. At the top of his head you can see where the flesh is folded over as if peeling off from the bone side toward the fleshy side. Because his one eye is totally exposed without an eyelid or any sort of protection he is wearing a brass framed monocle apparatus to protect his eye and perhaps enhance the vision. He also has a brass hearing apparatus on that side of his head as well as a brass breathing apparatus, he must have some lung damage as well. The hearing and breathing devices seem to have some sort of adjustment available with a sort of geared knob. The apparatus is all held in place on his head with leather straps and brass buckles.
He is all sculpted with colored porcelains, finished with china paint and liquid bright brass adorns his apparatus and the buckles holding it all in place.
